Bistro Metal & Wood Dining Tea Table & 2 Chairs 3 Piece Set Review

(More customer reviews)This table and chair set is very good quality, especially for such a low price. The table is the perfect height, and the curved back of the chairs comfortably cradles my back when sitting. The elegant shape looks lovely without overwhelming the space and is compact enough to fit in a small apartment. The wood is a rich brown-red and the metal legs seem to be black powder-coated. One complaint is that I wish the chair legs had a rubber or plastic foot to avoid scratching my wood floor when they are moved. The table was very easy to assemble, with helpful markings on the wood showing where the legs should attach. The chairs did not have these markings and would have been much easier to assemble if there had been at least a tiny, pre-drilled pinpoint hole showing where the screws attach. After the metal legs were assembled, I found the best angle to attach the wood seat was lying on my back under the chair (like a car mechanic). Even so, I am very happy with this furniture.

(More customer reviews)Ordered this item and received it very quickly, within 5 business days.Shipping was free which is quite outstanding for such a large and heavy item.Seller shipped the original box within another heavily padded box, thus ensuring no exterior damage to table.

The table itself is gorgeous.Highly polished, very substantial wood.This seller had the cheapest price by far that I could find on the internet for this table.Although the quality of the manufacturer is known as on the higher end, in light of the price, I thought this would be a cheaply made item and crossed my fingers that it would at least look presentable and serve it's purpose.

On the contrary, the construction is first rate.The wood is first rate.The table looks much more expensive than what I paid.In fact, we purchased this table to replace a very large table we purchased at Macy's for over $1000.00 and the wood really looks very similar and construction is very similar as well!

All and all, extremely happy with the table and the seller and would definitely purchase similar item from same seller again in the future.

(More customer reviews)These covers work great but you can't use them by tying them.You need to remove the seat of your chair.This is simple, it will either pull up or just loosen the screws that hold it on.First cut off those annoying ties.Then just like a gift, wrap the seat and staple it into the bottom of the seat.You must use a utility (heavy duty) stapler.After stapling the first side, pull the opposite side very taut and staple.Continue for all four sides.Its a little extra work but it looks much better and the cover lasts for a long while.I'm just replacing mine now after 2 1/2 years. It really is simple, I'm a real klutz and not handy at all and I can do it.I recommend it to all people with cloth seats and young children.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bar from Target.I placed my order at 3am on a Monday morning and it arrived at my house on Tuesday with free standard shipping. I wasn't expecting it to arrive for several more days, so it sat on my front porch much longer than I would have liked. Thank God my neighbors are honest!

The bar was very well packaged and nothing was damaged. I purchased the cherry stain and was pleasantly surprised that is wasn't nearly as red as it looks in the picture. The cherry is much more of a true dark brown with very little if any red at all.

My husband had it assembled in just a couple hours and said it wasn't incredibly hard. Although, he has always been very good at assembling furniture. He did need a second person to help hold the doors; luckily he had a friend over at the time. You must drill the holes for the doors and if they aren't absolutely perfect, opening and closing the doors will eventually mar the woodwork. Also, be sure you assemble everything in the order that it says in the instructions or you will find yourself back peddling.

With 15% off orders over $125, I saved $85 and another $45 with free shipping. Walmart sells this exact same piece but they only carry black and don't offer free shipping or "ship to store". Therefore Target was a much better deal.

The wood is very good quality, the color is perfect for my kitchen. When it is opened up, it also provides 60" of counter space which comes in handy. The thing I love the most, is there are tiny wheels on the bottom that you can't see when it's assembled. Which is a must have; I have already had to turn it around multiple times! I absolutely love this little bar!I will include some pics.

The stool is light-weight enough for her to move and provides a comfortable seat.

There are two drawbacks: the step part of the stool doesn't come out quite far enough, giving the feeling of instability. Also, I assumed the entire unit folded for storage, but this is not the case. Only the steps fold in.

Both of the above are minor drawbacks and I would recomend this item to anyone.

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty nice breakfast bar.I got it on sale and it was shipped from amazon right away.Assembling it was a pain but it wasn't overly complicated.The worst part about assembling it was using the tiny glue bottle.Also, the little stoppers that you are supposed to put on the side of the drawers (so they don't fall out) don't really stay in place.The screw-hole covers don't like to stay on either, but that's to be expected.All in all, once it was assembled it looks very cute and compact.I like how it has wheels so I can easily convert it from the small breakfast bar to the drop-leaf table.
