(More customer reviews)I bought this after an extensive physical and web search for a table to upgrade & replace TV tray tables.There is not a lot out there.The table was somewhat tricky to put together as some of the nuts (especially the four at the top) attach to the threaded bolts in holes that are no bigger than the tip of your finger.You have to do it almost blind as at that point you are working below the partially assembled unit.There is no reason the Catskill guys had to use threaded bolts here.... could've used wood screws as they did for the feet.But after a frustrating time it eventually was assembled.It is a very nice unit. Nice and sturdy. Maybe a bit heavy for some women or kids but has two nice handles for lifting and sets up in 15 seconds.Be warned it is table height not TV tray height.So when we sit at the couch our dinner plate is a bit high.It would be great to use with regular or folding chairs.Great for small NYC apartments were space is at a premium.It is basically unfinished and I am going to stain it a bit darker to match other wood in our room.I didn't give it a higher rating because of the assembly problem and the fact that it a bit over-priced at $175.That said I like it and use it a lot.

Homelegance Scottsdale 3-Piece Counter Table and Stools Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the cherry wood colored set just last week.As an amazon prime member, the free shipping was great as shipping on other similar items w/o prime is $40-50.The package comes in one large box, with the items protected by styrofoam.Putting the table together was really easy with the tool that comes in the kit. Putting the two stools together was a little more complicated and required a screw driver and some arm work to drive the screws into the legs of the stool. Overall I got the whole thing set up in about 30-40 minutes.

The wood is a handsome deep cherry.The construction is solid and quite steady.The stools are sturdy as well and comfortable to sit on.The brown leather of the stool seats is quite soft and nicely textured.

Drawbacks to the table include that it isn't wide enough to fit two normally sized placemats across from each other.The short end of the table top is wide enough to fit a normal sized place mat but is uncomfortable for sitting at either end because of the bars which run vertically to support the table.

Overall this is a fantastic little table for a New York apartment. Definitely worth the $120 or so price tag.

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty nice breakfast bar.I got it on sale and it was shipped from amazon right away.Assembling it was a pain but it wasn't overly complicated.The worst part about assembling it was using the tiny glue bottle.Also, the little stoppers that you are supposed to put on the side of the drawers (so they don't fall out) don't really stay in place.The screw-hole covers don't like to stay on either, but that's to be expected.All in all, once it was assembled it looks very cute and compact.I like how it has wheels so I can easily convert it from the small breakfast bar to the drop-leaf table.
